Sewcial Sewing Sessions 

Please call the shop on 0746337369 or drop in and speak to our friendly staff to book in if you wish to join us on our Sewcial Sewing Sessions. We do our best to accommodate
everyone and this allows us to make sure not to overbook the space.

Monday/Tuesday

Morning – 9.30 am – 12.30 pm

Afternoon –1 pm – 4.30 pm

Cost is $10 per session.

Personal Help Sessions

Personal Help Sessions

Cost is $30 per 2 hour session.

Call or drop in and speak to our
staff to book in your 2 hour help session. We can schedule these at a mutually beneficial time as we have different classes running each week and therefore different available times.  If you have a project that you need assistance we can help. Examples include pinning your quilt, helping you understand and step you through a pattern, picking your fabrics and helping organise a project. Bag projects, Quilts and associated projects are welcome. Keep in mind we are a patchwork and quilting business and do not sew clothing.

All-Buttoned-Up Bag Class: 13th of November

Buttoned-up Bag Class  

In this class you will be making a bag from "Aunties Two Patterns"

  • The bag measures 12" tall,   14 "wide and 6" deep 
  •  A requirements list will be sent once payment has been processed

This Class is a big full day of Sewing. We do stop for Morning Tea and Lunch.

Jelly Roll Placemat class: 6th of November

This class is a Half day class that will start at 9.30am to 12.30pm. 

In this Class we will be making One of the Placemats from a set of 4 Placemats.

Stack and Whack Class: 19th & 20th of November (FULL)

 Join us for an exciting two-day Stack and Whack quilting class! On day one, you’ll learn how to cut and carefully stack your fabric repeats before whacking them into striking kaleidoscope blocks. On day two, we’ll sew the blocks together, bringing the pieces to life as one wonderful quilt creation. With expert guidance, you’ll build confidence in accurate cutting, careful piecing, and handling bias edges while creating a quilt full of movement, colour, and surprise.

Details:

This class will take place over 2 Consecutive days: Thursday and Friday.  

Each day goes from 9:30am to 12:30pm

Hanabi Foundation Paper piecing Class: 18th of December

ONE DAY CLASS     - $85.00

In this class you will learn the basic instructions for foundation paper piecing as well as our best tips and tricks that go along with it. 

This quilt pattern is made up of one block that is repeated. In this class you will learn how to sew the block so you are able to go home, repeat, and finish your quilt. 

Class includes Hanabi Hexagonal Paper piecing Log Cabin Pattern


Class starts at 9.30am and finishes at 2pm 

Tea and Coffee will be available. 

 

 

 

Basic Beginners Patchwork Course: 2027

Prior Booking is Essential!

8 Week Class = On one day (9.30am - 1pm) per week for 7 weeks. (and a 8th lesson 4 weeks after week 7)

During these Classes you will learn a variety of Skills and styles that make up the craft of patchworking.
